Upcoming Concerts

Two upcoming concerts you all might be interested in. First, this Saturday night, November 5 at 7:30, the Choir of the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in Chestnut Hill is performing selections from the Duruflé, Fauré, Mozart and Rutter Requiems. We’re joined by singers from the Jesuit Urban Center, who will also perform some Gregorian Chant. I’ll be singing with the choir and in the soli quartet for the Tuba Mirum movement of Mozart’s Requiem. Admission is free and so is parking. Read all the details here.

Second, The Heritage Chorale will present a collection of Magnificats on Sunday, November 20 at Babson College’s Knight Auditorium. No solos for me in this one, but we will be performing John Rutter’s setting of the Magnificat, which should be popular among John Williams fans.
